Full Stack Python Engineer

W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $67 - $76 per hour

Location: Cupertino, CA - Remote Role

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Python full-stack engineer to help build and maintain internal services focused on data governance, privacy, and emerging AI-driven workflows. This role is engineering-first and is suited for someone who enjoys owning systems end-to-end, from writing code to deploying and operating it in production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain Python-based backend services using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI
Develop APIs that support agent-based and automation-driven workflows
Build and maintain lightweight frontend components, primarily using React
Own deployments from development through production, including CI/CD pipelines
Containerize services and deploy them to Kubernetes-based environments
Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and availability of running services
Work closely with the data platform and privacy teams to support data governance and privacy requirements
Build and maintain internal tools and services that integrate with existing data registry systems

Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong experience with Python in a production environment
Experience building APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
Working knowledge of frontend development, with React preferred
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
Comfortable owning services end-to-end, including deployment and operational support
Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on AI-driven or agent-based systems
Background in data governance, data platforms, or privacy-related systems
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
Experience supporting internal platforms or developer tooling
