We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and drive the design and implementation of user interfaces for our products. The UI/UX Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and QA engineers to create intuitive, appealing, and user-friendly interfaces. A successful candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design principles and implementation, proficiency in front-end development technologies, and an aptitude for teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities:

Participate as an integral part of the software development lifecycle, from product planning to daily standups.
Create a coherent design system and style that can be applied across all of e-PlanSoft's products
Collaborate with product management to create designs for user stories
Collaborate with product management, customer support, and sales to better understand the problems users face and how we can best help them.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Translate design mockups into responsive and interactive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript web UI frameworks.
Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on and improve interface designs.
Optimize UI/UX designs for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality and stability of UI/UX implementations.
Get to know our end users and be a strong advocate for them across the entire software development lifecycle
Participate in and enhance a collaborative, friendly, customer-focused culture for the development team and company as a whole

Qualification:

2+ years experience as a UI/UX designer
A demonstrable portfolio of successful past projects
Experience with agile development methodologies such as kanban or scrum
Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, human-computer interfaces, or a related field.
Deep experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, usability best practices, and human-computer interaction.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience with version control systems is a plus.
Experience at a startup or other dynamic, fast-growing organization is a strong plus.
Experience in the permitting, planning, or construction fields is a plus.
