MAGNIFY is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join our client's team in Virginia. This position is 100% remote, after 1 week on site for training.

Our client is in the process of developing a cutting-edge smart warehousing prototype aimed at enhancing digitization and operational efficiencies within existing DoD warehouses.

We are looking for a proactive senior software engineer to spearhead the design, development, and testing of a cloud-based full-stack platform. This platform will involve integrations with various technologies such as mobile applications, robotics, augmented reality, and smart storage solutions, all intended to operate on a 5G network infrastructure.

Candidates should be adept at collaborating with both project and government stakeholders to ensure successful execution of the project for the Department of the Navy. Additionally, they should possess exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. While clearance is not mandatory, the preferred candidate should be eligible to apply for a DoD SECRET level clearance if required in the future.

Required Qualifications:

At least 6 years of hands-on experience in software development, focusing on both on-premise and cloud architectures.
Proficiency in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript for both frontend and backend development (NodeJS), as well as Angular and React frameworks.
Familiarity with message bus providers like Kafka and MQTT. Proficiency in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, and Entity Framework within C#.
Knowledge of cloud architectures, especially AWS, with exposure to FedRAMP services being advantageous.
Experience in building RESTful, GraphQL, and WebSocket services.
Proficiency in Docker and containerized services.
Understanding of application design for Kubernetes deployment.
Familiarity with network infrastructure, including different topologies (L2/L3, ZTA).
Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing, covering Unit to End-to-End testing.
Exposure to hardware development and integration.
Strong skills in debugging containerized applications and optimizing their performance on Linux operating systems.
Experience in software development across Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency in source control systems like git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and in small teams to achieve project goals.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and supporting remote development teams.

Preferred:

Experience in warehousing or logistics domains.
Engineering degree or relevant work experience.
Exposure to working with US Navy or government contracts.
