We’re looking for a Web Developer to help us transition away from our traditional web UI and into a more responsive, secure, and user focused architecture. You’ll be working with our project owners, database and API engineers to design a transition process away from our legacy UI and help us lay the foundation for a new end user experience.

Our ideal candidate can review a legacy .NET4 (C# - webforms) codebase and work with the team to implement new UI design and functionality. This candidate should have a strong understanding of UI security (All code is subject to regular 3rd party penetration tests) and is able to hit the ground running with the Visual Studio IDE and Microsoft DevOps (Git).

You’ll be working within the Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS cloud environments, so an understanding of the deployment and maintenance that comes with “the cloud” is important for this role.

Role Needs

Work with CTO and engineering staff to design and implement a new UI frameworks and technologies for our software.
Help design a transition process away from our legacy application UI modules and into a new UI framework.
Take part in customer discussions regarding feature/functionality requests.
Work closely with API and Database developers to bring new features to market.
Proactively identify areas of improvement in existing systems and processes.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in .NET web application development
Very strong understanding of front-end development and working familiarity with middle and database layers.
Fluency in C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS required.
Experience with test-driven development and/or unit testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of OAuth and JWT
Able to manage multiple responsibilities; work independently; participate as a team member in projects; maintain accurate records; set and keep to schedules; set priorities; and work well under pressure.
Good verbal and writing skills, tact, and diplomacy as well as the ability to interact positively with both staff and customers. Enjoy collaborating with other team members and customers.
Must be detail oriented and flexible and treat all office matters with strict confidentiality.
