Role Description

The Engineering Intern will work directly under our COO and Director of Engineering to engage in various day-to-day tasks including developing and maintaining back-end systems, programming, and software development. You'll assist in resolving defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches, and have ownership over designing and developing new features for our users.

While preference will be shown to candidates in the New York City Metropolitan Area, all qualified candidates located within the US are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, and Typescript
Experience with AI-powered IDEs like Windsurf or Cursor
Thorough understanding of React Material UI and core React principles
Familiarity with TailwindCSS
Familiarity with Git
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Enthusiasm for helping students with their educational journeys

The pay range for this position is: $35.50 - $55.50 (per hour), and varies based on education and location
