About The Role

We are looking for a hungry, driven software engineer ready to go all-in on building products, services, and tools for our startup. We’re on a rocket ship trajectory and we need you to be nimble, fast on your feet and a creative problem solver striving to overcome limits. You will be handling both the front-end (React) and back-end (Ruby on Rails) of our application and will design, build, and scale solutions for our customers. You will also have access to mentorship from our team which hails from top organizations like Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta.

Since this is an early startup, you will be making a tremendous impact on the engineering culture of the organization, as well as on services delivery and outcomes.

What will you be doing?

Build intuitive, elegant user interfaces for desktop and mobile devices in place for thousands of users
Build, scale, and evolve the data models, services, and systems that power our APIs
Collaborate across teams and functions to deliver entire features and products to our users
Deeply understand our customer needs and design systems supporting services that will resolve them
Create and improve tooling, processes, and engineering standards across the team.

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?

2+ years of experience building and scaling customer-facing software. React and/or Ruby on Rails experience is a plus
Clear and concise communication with team members
A desire to think deeply about API design and the user experience
Ability to write, test, launch, debug and maintain production-quality code.
Ability to design new systems informed by customer requirements, and evaluate the tradeoffs in scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
A desire and demonstrated capacity to focus on customer needs and solve real problems.
