Location: Remote (Boston, LA, SF preferred)

We’re TORI — a venture-backed startup transforming drive-thrus with our proprietary conversational AI assistant that takes orders with speed and efficiency. We’re looking for a high-energy, mission-driven engineer who wants to build fast, learn constantly, and help define the future of food tech.

What You’ll Do:

Architect, build, and launch core components of TORI’s AI-driven ordering platform across web and edge environments
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to ship fast and iterate often
Apply AI and large language models (LLMs) to power real-world voice interactions
Make foundational technology decisions with long-term impact on scalability and reliability
Dive into real-world customer problems, fix issues fast, and help create a category-defining experience
Influence company culture, hiring practices, and technical direction as we grow

What We’re Looking For:

Entrepreneurial mindset and hunger to own projects end-to-end
Strong backend experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
Solid frontend skills with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and modern frameworks
Experience building systems that integrate AI/ML, third-party APIs, and multi-platform frontends
Comfort working with devops tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong computer science fundamentals and a bias toward shipping product
Bonus: experience in restaurant tech, voice AI, or high-scale transactional systems
