TAF, an engineering firm in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a React Native iOS Developer to work on R&D projects including Augmented Reality maintenance and IoT-enabled tools. This position will report directly to TAF’s Principal Investigator for these R&D efforts. This role will include:

Design & development of prototypes & products in a startup-like environment
Developing AR interfaces on iOS with React Native
Developing WebRTC and real-time collaboration tools in React Native

This position is 100% remote from anywhere in the United States with a flexible schedule. At least 20 hours per week must be during US-Eastern Time business hours (9-5ET).

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Early career $60,000 to $80,000. Experienced level $80,000 to $100,000. Benefits include 4% 401(k) match, 10 Federal holidays, paid time off, and group health/vision/dental insurance. This position is full time. TAF is open to both entry-level and experienced applicants in this role that meet the requirements below.

Experience Requirements:

React.js
React Native on iOS
TypeScript
Demonstrated experience working on integrated multi-disciplinary teams to design and build complex projects
Git version control in a collaborative environment
Deploying code with CI/CD
Access to high speed internet for video calls

Optional “Nice to haves”:

4-year related degree
Prior experience with Objective-C / Swift
Prior experience with Unity on iOS
Prior experience with Node.js
Prior experience with WebRTC
Familiarity with Azure including Azure Functions
Experience with FedRAMP, NIST-800, and related compliance
