Role Overview

As part of the Engineering team, you will contribute to building a product that helps Americans save more effectively. This is a fast-paced environment where rapid iteration and development are highly valued. If you have a bias for action and thrive in an environment where decisions must be made quickly, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate on the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable systems and services to support the product.
Help define secure, distributed, and event-driven systems.
Work closely with exceptional teams to deliver demanding projects.
Break down complex problems into simple, actionable solutions.
Understand system interdependencies and limitations.
Share your knowledge of performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering best practices.
Work closely with other engineers, UX designers, and product managers to create user-friendly UI experiences.

What We’d Love To See

Proficiency with Typescript, Node, and React.
Experience writing reliable and reusable code using Next.js and Nest.js.
2+ years of front-end experience, with a strong understanding of CSS and HTML.
Full-stack development experience with web and services.
Strong analytical and design skills.
Expertise in implementing top-tier UI/UX for users.
Relational database experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
A degree in computer science or related fields, or 2+ years of equivalent experience in software development.

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this role, based in New York City, is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. This role includes a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary range applies to US-based employees located in the listed market. Additional benefits include healthcare, 401k contributions, and more.
