Role Description
This is a full-time internship role for an AI Intern at NextGen Digital Solutions, located in Mumbai (Hybrid). As an AI Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects in artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will collaborate with senior AI engineers, data scientists, and developers to support the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing AI models using machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques.
- Work with datasets for tasks such as cleaning, preprocessing, and feature extraction.
- Support in training, validating, and fine-tuning models for use cases like classification, recommendation, and automation.
- Contribute to integrating AI models into applications and APIs.
- Research and experiment with new AI frameworks and libraries.
- Collaborate with teams to understand business problems and propose AI-driven solutions.
- Document experiments, results, and workflows for internal use.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python and AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or Hugging Face.
- Understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning, computer vision, NLP, or generative AI.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, or LLaMA is a plus.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) for managing structured and unstructured data.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative environment.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree (pursuing final year) or recently graduated in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
- Passion for Artificial Intelligence and eagerness to learn.
- Prior coursework, projects, or internships in AI/ML will be an advantage.
