About the Role
We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in React and solid experience in Ruby on Rails. This role is frontend-leaning but requires the ability to work across the stack, especially in a financial services environment dealing with complex and real-time data.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance web applications using React and Ruby on Rails
- Develop scalable, reusable frontend components and backend APIs
- Work with large, complex, and real-time financial datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend)
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 9 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails for backend development
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data handling and UI performance optimization
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with AG Grid (handling complex financial data grids)
- Familiarity with OpenFin (desktop apps in trading/finance ecosystems)
- Experience in financial services / fintech / trading platforms
- Knowledge of real-time data (WebSockets, streaming)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
