Zensar is looking for a Senior Java Developer with Cloud & DevOps Experience in North Carolina (%100 Remote). This position is open for Full Time with excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities.
Job Description – Java / Cloud / DevOps Engineer
Must Have Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing Java Spring Boot microservices deployed on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services, including SQS and Lambda.
- Solid experience with Kafka and Redis for event driven processing and caching.
- Hands on exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices, including:
- Git based workflows
- Helm charts
- ArgoCD / GitOps
- Multi environment deployments (DEV / TEST / UAT / PROD)
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React JS and/or Angular JS, and backend system integrations.
- Strong backend database knowledge using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of application performance tuning, resource utilization, and scalability.
- Ability to debug existing applications, perform targeted bug fixes, and support application refactoring or redesign.
- Strong understanding of the end to end web application development lifecycle, including:
- Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Design patterns
- Development, deployment, and maintenance
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Git, and related project/task tracking tools.
- Exposure to security and compliance requirements, particularly HIPAA / PHI.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Experience with AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Experience in prompt engineering, including the design of system prompts and user prompts.
- Advanced exposure to cloud native or containerized architectures beyond core requirements.
- Experience supporting or optimizing complex integrations across microservices.
- Prior experience working in highly regulated domains such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
