Role Description
Data Scientist is responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to help organizations make data-driven decisions. This role combines skills in
Statistics,
Machine Learning, Python R, and programming to uncover trends and build predictive models.
Experience - 6+ years
Skills - DS, ML, Python R, AI and gen AI.
Location - Any UST location.
Notice – Immediate - 30 days’ notice would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
- Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Build predictive models using Machine Learning techniques
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards
- Work with stakeholders to understand business problems
- Communicate findings through reports and presentations
- Deploy models into production environments
- Continuously improve data pipelines and model performance
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Statistics and probability
- Programming in Python or R
- Experience with libraries like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or Pandas
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of Data Mining and feature engineering
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
