Role Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate Front-End Developer with strong expertise in JAMstack and modern front-end frameworks. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, accessible, and scalable applications for our e-commerce platforms, working closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using JAMstack principles.
- Build and maintain features using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React or Angular.
- Integrate with APIs, CMS platforms, and e-commerce backends.
- Ensure code quality through GitHub version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros) to ensure project success.
- Apply accessibility and SEO best practices to ensure compliance and user-friendliness.
- Work with cloud platforms for deployment and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in JAMstack architecture (primary requirement).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
- Node.js experience for server-side rendering and tooling.
- Experience with API integration (REST, GraphQL).
- CMS integration experience (e.g., headless CMS).
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
- Experience with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience in an e-commerce environment.
- Agile/Scrum working experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components.
