Job Summary
Stravexa is seeking a UI React Developer on behalf of our client in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to build scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong UI development expertise, experience with advanced data grids, and the ability to collaborate across the full technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, production-ready front-end applications using React, TypeScript, AG Grid, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design and implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and shared design systems.
- Integrate front-end applications with APIs and collaborate with backend engineering teams.
- Work with cloud-based applications and support deployments through modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify and resolve application performance issues and technical bottlenecks.
- Implement authentication and authorization solutions, including SSO, OAuth/OIDC, and RBAC.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to unit testing standards.
- Participate in code reviews, refactoring, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
- Create clear technical documentation and communicate design and implementation decisions effectively.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong front-end development expertise.
- Extensive experience building production applications using React and TypeScript or a comparable modern JavaScript framework.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser APIs, accessibility, and front-end performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with advanced data grids; AG Grid experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with server-side data loading, filtering, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of API integration and experience working across the application stack.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Experience building reusable UI component libraries and/or design systems; Storybook experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern front-end tooling, including Node.js, Vite, npm, and monorepo/workspace environments.
- Experience with authentication and authorization patterns such as SSO, OIDC/OAuth2, and RBAC.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment, preferably with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing, code reviews, refactoring, and engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Python/Django APIs or full-stack development.
- Experience deploying and operating web applications in Azure or another major cloud platform.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications and distributed development teams.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC, with an expectation of working onsite two days per week.
