Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced React Software Developer to join a dynamic and agile project team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise, critical thinking, and creativity to evolve existing systems and develop innovative solutions.
As part of a global development team, you will collaborate with highly experienced professionals across multiple time zones to enhance existing solutions and develop new capabilities across the Reinsurance and Enterprise Risk, Pricing & Modelling Systems landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including:
- Requirements analysis
- Coding and development
- Unit testing
- System testing
- User acceptance testing (UAT)
- Warranty and production support
- Produce, test, and deploy high-quality code as part of a large, distributed development team.
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
- Develop and integrate new capabilities across the application stack.
- Contribute to the integration and deployment of capabilities into production environments.
- Identify and manage technical dependencies with other development teams, infrastructure, security, and related stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Business Technology Solutions teams to support integration initiatives and share technical knowledge.
- Contribute to and influence development technology roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and optimize development capabilities and processes.
- Prioritize development activities and deliver solutions aligned with established technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams across different time zones.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities appropriate to the nature of the role.
