Interview Process: There will likely be two rounds of interviews. Interviews will be held in person. Candidates MUST be available for an in-person interview.

Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE-ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are required onsite days.

- This Java/React developer position supports the Michigan Department of Transportation& (MDOT) Project
Development and Maintenance programs. - As a software developer, responsibilities include collaborating with the project manager, application owner, and
resource manager, working on an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. - This role performs a variety of complex tasks and may report directly to a project lead or manager. Strong
communication skills, teamwork, self-direction, commitment, and quick learning are essential. - In addition to full-stack development, this position works closely with UI/UX team members to build modern, responsive user interfaces using React.
Required Experience:
- Programming complex systems using current Java and development tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio – 7 Years
- Programming with Java 8 – 4 Years
- Development using the current Spring Framework – 5 Years
- Development with JPA/Hibernate – 5 Years
- Agile development environment experience – 5 Years
- Programming with Oracle 12C or Oracle 19C – 4 Years
- Development using React.js for building responsive user interfaces – Desired/Required based on business need, 4 Years
- Programming in the JBoss Enterprise environment – 4 Years
Desired Experience:
- Frontend development experience with a strong focus on meeting WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
(or higher). - JUnit, Tiles – 4 Years
- Reporting tools such as Jasper Reports – 4 Years
