Overview:
This role is essentially a Technical Team Lead / Senior Software Engineer hybrid supporting the GeoSense application development team. The title is still being finalized internally, and while it functions similarly to a Scrum Master role, the emphasis is much more on technical leadership than agile administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily scrums and coordinate development activities across a cross-functional application team.
- Serve as the bridge between management and developers, helping prioritize work, manage releases, and oversee Jira/Kanban processes.
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, and development approaches.
- Contribute hands-on development work when time permits.
- Support multiple technology disciplines including:
- Web Development (React)
- Mobile Development (React Native)
- APIs (Azure/APIM)
- Database Development (Snowflake)
- ServiceNow (oversight, not deep technical ownership)
- Help drive the organization's push toward full-stack development and AI-assisted coding adoption.
