Description

As a Front-End developer you will be responsible for coding and maintaining the front-end of websites and blogs for our client's core brands. You will work in small, concentrated teams and influence projects from inception. It will be your job to take feedback from across departments and teams and apply it accordingly. Since you will be involved in the process from kickoff to QA, you will have the opportunity to impact processes and workflow, educate on industry trends, and influence the use of new technologies.

Design and architect dynamic data-driven web experiences using various web-based APIs
Supply accurate estimates of features
Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, test, implement and support new front-end applications, systems, and tools
Complete research and training on the job
Ensure confidentiality of client credentials, components of statistical work, client documents and interfacing of their systems
Support the recruiting and hiring of new Engineers
Adhere to proper design principles for projects and frameworks
Work with cross-functional team members and teams
Examine and keep track of the latest developments and direction of web-based platforms
Assist with internal documentation, training, and other special projects, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Create development standards and process improvements
Collaborate effectively with internal and external clients
Support and modify existing applications
Guide web engineers to help them develop their technical proficiencies
Own technical leadership on client projects

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in architecting and delivering complex web-based applications
Minimum 3 years' experience working with common web frameworks
Knowledgeable in multiple development methodologies
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
Skilled in communicating complex solutions to external clients, in a way that non-technical stakeholders would understand
Minimum 5 years' experience working as a developer writing code
