About the Role

Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior developers and product managers to build and enhance user-facing features for our web applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive code, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI components
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Debug and resolve front-end performance and accessibility issues
Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and tools
Work in an agile environment, attending daily standups and sprint planning sessions
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, and product
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

Technologies You'll Work With

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (we primarily use React)
CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
Build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel
Version control with Git and GitHub/GitLab
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is a plus

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of responsive design principles
Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (React preferred)
Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
