Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the growing team. As a key member of the development group, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, a deep understanding of modern web technologies, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
● Full Stack Development: Drive the end-to-end development of innovative software and e-commerce solutions, spanning both front-end and back-end development.
● Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable and maintainable systems that meet business requirements.
● Integration: Work on integrating various third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways to enhance functionality and user experience.
● Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and security.
● Collaboration: Work closely with a team of engineers, luxury stylists, fashion brands and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software components and alignment with business goals.
● Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field OR relevant experience.
● 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
● Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as React, NextJs, and Tailwind CSS.
● Strong expertise in server-side development using languages like Python or Node.js.
● Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres) and data modeling.
● Solid understanding of REST and/or GraphQL API design and integration.
● Proficiency in building Docker images, optimizing container performance, and integrating Docker into the overall development and deployment workflow.
● Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including proficiency in deploying and managing applications on AWS platforms. Familiarity with services such as ECS, Cognito, S3, Lambda, RDS, is essential.
● Understanding of the Shopify platform and experience developing applications using Shopify’s APIs
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
● Startup experience or interest in learning about luxury fashion is a plus.
