Senior UI Engineer | Trading Technology
Location: New York City
Compensation: $175,000 to $350,000 base, plus bonus
A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring a UI Engineer to build real time applications used by trading, risk, and operational teams globally.
Responsibilities
• Build complex, data intensive applications using React and TypeScript
• Design scalable frontend architecture and reusable components
• Integrate with C++, Python, and real time backend systems
• Translate complicated trading workflows into intuitive user experiences
• Own performance, state management, testing, and frontend tooling
• Work directly with traders and business users to deliver critical products
Requirements
• Strong React and TypeScript experience
• Background building large scale production applications
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture and performance
• Experience with distributed or real time systems
• Strong product and UX instincts
• Financial services experience is helpful but not required
