We are seeking a Front-End Developer to help modernize and enhance a portfolio of custom business applications. This role will spend the majority of its time designing, developing, and improving modern web-based user interfaces while also providing back-end development support as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive user experiences, building scalable React applications, and collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions. While this is primarily a front-end role, candidates should be comfortable contributing to .NET Core back-end development when project needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications with a primary focus on React-based front-end development.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces that improve usability and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
- Support .NET Core back-end development and enhancements as needed.
- Participate in application modernization initiatives and platform improvements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application functionality and performance.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and development best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on front-end development.
- Extensive experience developing enterprise web applications using React.
- Experience with .NET Core development and API integration.
- Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
- Experience working with source control and CI/CD processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
- Experience working with both on-premises and cloud-hosted applications.
- Familiarity with Azure environments and cloud migration initiatives.
- Ability to recommend technical improvements, modern development practices, and UI/UX enhancements.
- Experience supporting custom business applications in a fast-paced environment.
