SKILLS REQUIRED:
Primary (Must-Have):
• Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow UI Builder and Now Experience Framework
• Extensive core ServiceNow development experience (JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integrations)
• Proven ability to design and develop responsive interfaces using Now Experience components
• Deep configuration expertise with workflows, flows, catalog items, record producers, and business rules
• Minimum 12+ years of progressive enterprise software development and platform engineering experience
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and core applications
• Experience leading technical delivery, mentoring junior developers, and setting development standards
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an elite Lead UI Builder Developer for a 10+ month, 100% remote contract engagement. In this high-impact role, you will champion the modernization of application interfaces within an enterprise ecosystem by leveraging the Now Experience Framework. Operating as a key technical authority, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and highly intuitive, responsive front-end components, driving user-centric innovation across core platform services.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, architect, and develop highly responsive, scalable user interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder and the Now Experience Framework
• Spearhead core platform development, writing clean, performant JavaScript code utilizing Glide APIs, business rules, and script includes
• Build, configure, and maintain robust automated workflows using Flow Designer, while managing catalog items and complex record producers
• Architect and optimize secure integrations between the core platform and external enterprise applications
• Provide technical leadership and governance to development teams, ensuring all deliverables align with platform best practices, ITSM guidelines, and high structural standards
