Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (5 days onsite)
Compensation: $170,000 - $200,000 base + Competitive Equity
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup backed by Y Combinator and Gradient (Google's AI venture arm). Having raised over $22M in funding, they're building AI agents that automate accounts receivable for enterprise customers by replacing manual financial workflows with intelligent software.
As the company continues to scale, they're looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building high-quality products from the ground up, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and build end-to-end product features across the frontend and backend.
- Translate complex accounting and finance workflows into scalable AI-powered software.
- Work closely with cutting-edge LLMs to improve automation accuracy and customer experience.
- Build dashboards and analytics that provide meaningful insights for enterprise customers.
- Integrate AI agents with ERP, accounting, and other third-party platforms.
- Design scalable architecture that supports rapid product growth.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering to ship features quickly.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience building production software at a technology company.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
- Production experience with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at an early-stage startup, preferably fewer than 30 employees.
- Experience scaling a B2B SaaS product from early customers to meaningful revenue.
- Experience with Prisma, Vercel, and event-driven technologies such as Inngest or Temporal.
- Experience building AI-enabled products or integrating LLMs into production applications.
- Comfortable owning features from architecture through deployment.

This is not a backend-only or frontend-only position. We're looking for engineers who enjoy building complete products and are comfortable working across the entire stack.
